It took me an embarrassingly long amount of time to finish this. I really need to learn how to work faster. His hair nearly did me in several times. :phew:

All done with a 0.5 HB mechanical pencil.

Wow....I'm in like total shock. This is beautiful. Amazing amazing job :hug: Well done. This is just so awesome. I think the long amount of time was totally justified. It's got favourite written all over it.

this looks great :)
some advice on hoe to draw faster....you said you used only a mech pencil - well i think you can go faster if you try using a wide variety of pencils - use softer ones and first generalize the main dark/light ares (i hope you're getting what i mean, i'm not great at explanations :p)...then use the finer mech pencil only to outline the details.....and of course the best way to go faster is not to be afraid to be more loose with the flow of your hand movements, don;t be afraid to make some irregular strikes you can always erase them later :) i hope that will help you a bit, at least that helped me a lot in getting things faster :)
